NFPJ
is a group of Photo Journalists working
for daily newspapers, weekly, fortnightly
and monthly magazines with the objective
of promoting Photo Journalism activites
and especially preserving and advocationg
for the rights of Photo Journalism in
Nepal. NFPJ is
also striving to develop visual literacy
in the country. NFPJ plans to have programmes
to assist Photo Journalists to promote
thir photographs worldwide. NFPJ,
established in 1997 has already conducted
Photography/Photo Journalism workshops
and its members have participated in
world class photography exhibition “Chobi
Mela” at Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Each year members of the forum have
been participating the Photo Contests
such as World Press Photo, etc. NFPJ
already has more than 50 working Photo
Journalists as the member.
